Joshua Smith awarded two prestigious fellowships

Prof. Joshua Smith has received two highly regarded fellowships to support his sabbatical for the 2018-19 academic year.

The Loeb Classical Library Foundation (LCLF) Fellowship provides funding that extends his in-house junior faculty leave to a full year as he works on his monograph. The LCLF awards fellowships to faculty working in the area of classical studies.

The Non-Residential Fellowship in Hellenic Studies from the Center for Hellenic Studies (CHS) provides further support for that same project. This award allows Prof. Smith to work at the CHS library over the next year and develop his project through dialogue with the many excellent scholars who spend time at the CHS.
