On May 21, the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences celebrated recent PhD recipients at the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. The ceremony marks a major milestone in the lives of the recipients and celebrates unique contributions in their fields. 

Among those participating was Classics’ own graduate, Martin Michálek, shown here receiving his hood from his advisor, Shane Butler. Chris Celenza, Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences and Classics professor, is standing in the left of the photo. Congratulations, Martin!
