PhD Success for Tashi Treadway

On this hot day in June, Tashi Treadway successfully defended her dissertation, “Culturally Significant Companions: An Analysis of Human-Animal Relationships in Greek and Roman Literature.”

Along with external reviewer Athena Kirk from Cornell, Tashi’s advisor, Nandini Pandey served as a reviewer along with JHU faculty Karen ni Mheallaigh, Mary Favret, and Jennifer Stager.

A hybrid defense allowed for some family and friends to attend virtually.

Congratulations, Dr. Treadway!
