I joined the Department of Classics after earning my BA in Classics and Classical Civilization from the University of Toronto in 2023, where I was fortunate to work as a fellow at the Jackman Humanities Institute and graduated with a Governor General's Silver Medal. My interests lie primarily in the world of the Imperial Greeks, where I am interested in questions surrounding books, letters, and collections or lists of texts in their multitudinous roles within the literary conceptions of authors who invoke them. My undergraduate project attempted to apply this focus by examining list-citation as a mechanism for authorial self-presentation in Diogenes Laertius; at Johns Hopkins, I hope to further expand my explorations of Roman intellectual culture and its presence in Greek literature, particularly fiction.
